Default Help me save my friend

My buddy owns an 04 6 litre. He has been through three turbos already because that's what the dealer keeps telling him is wrong, he will lose power while dirving. About three months ago he was dirving and truck lost power(this is the third turbo he's on right now) had his foot to the floor and could only go like 20-30 mph. This exact same thing happened again about two weeks ago. The dealer keeps blaming him saying he needs to put fuel additive in his truck. The truck is out of warranty and there's no way he's going to throw money away on a new turbo when that has never fixed the problem. What do you guys think it could be? Thanks for all the help.

I had a friend with a 04 with the same problem and it ended up being injectors.

How'd he test em? Buzz test or pressure test em?

Also I've seen that he should upgrade oil drain tube would that have anything to do with this?

6.0 injectors run off oil pressure i think if there isnt enough oil pressure they wont fire right could be source for lack of power idk

I had this same kind of prob with my 04. It ended up being a ICP Sensor. He may need to have the new version installed.

Sounds like it could be the ICP sensor, HPOP (High Pressure Oil Pump) - Fire the injectors, FICM (Fuel Injector Control Module), or injectors alone....

Where's the ICP located on that truck? Also not sure if it's like the 7.3 but could there be a loose connection on one of the UVC's? Thanks again.
