When I turn the key to on gages will not work even after starting.When this happens all the gages,chimes radio cruise control and switched dome will not work.Fuses ok,Independent shop checked cluster found nothing.The dealers here never heard of that happening.So I really don't want them to start replacing parts.Hoping somebody here might have seen this before.When I turn the key off after a while chimes and dome works.But truck cranks and runs fine.

Do a search on powerstroke.org I'm fairly certain I saw someone else with this problem when I first joined a while back. I'll do some searching myself and see if I can find anything.

 

Well first off.A Ford dealer gave me a phone number.This guy repairs dash clusters.Well he had it about four days.Sent it back said it is the truck because nothing wrong with dash.Took it to a local dealer.They called me today said it is the dash cluster.Will have one by Tuesday.

Yes got it fixed at dealer in Liberty TX.Cost me $473.00 The one that said it wasn't my dash will not get a good recommendation from me.I think he does a lot of work for used car dealers.I'll let you guess what I am thinking.

Got me a EGR block off plate ordered for my up pipe.Going to see how tough that is to install.
