Wishing everyone a good safe holiday.

I was wondering what opinions are on the plug in heated battery blankets. Do they make a difference with truck starting in cold weather. I have no issues with it starting now, but in southern ontario where I live the coldest its gotten yet is -12 which really isn't all that cold. I havn't even really had to use the block heater yet as it starts better in the cold weather than it seems to in the warmer weather.

Does anyone use these blankets and do they make a difference? Or are they just a waste of money?
