REAL WORLD RESULTS
OK, you guys got my attention. Since I ALREADY HAD a FUEL PRESSURE GAUGE INSTALLED I thought I would try the "BB" and verify the results.
My 2003 6.0 fuel pressure was running below what I thought was acceptable. Measured via the IDP adaptor line with a liquid filled 'permenantly installed' under hood gauge I was running about 48 PSIG at idle and 45 PSIG at WOT (in park).
I installed the BB and the results are as follows:
65 PSIG at idle
63 PSIG at WOT
I am very happy with the BB Mod. I can't say every truck will get the same results but it worked for me. I didnt stretch the spring and couldn't see paying $20 to Gillete for a spring.
So the conclusion is after 118K miles on my 03 "IT WORKED"
