Cut the VGT solinoid wires and run a switch. its not worth it. your trucks going to run really poor and it could screw up your turbo pretty bad.

There are 2 wires coming off the front of your vgt <turbo> Cut either of the 2 wires coming off the harness and run a toggle to both sides of that wire. And now you know but I would listen to everybody on here when they say it is a bad ideal. I had one and my turbo lag doubled with it installed. It is cool but there are better ways to roll coal. And in my opinion The guys on here know there stuff, I would take the advice from a large number of people in agrence on a subject.

Smoke = wasted fuel.

VGT not working = Turbo not making boost

Switching VGT Sol. off = CEL and DTC's

You can make it smoke by putting a plastic bag in the air filter inlet too, don't make it a good idea.

X2

From what I've seen ; if you smoke buy a Dodge , for the power - stick to the POWERSTROKE
