Default 2004 6.0 powerstroke running problems update

ok guys got an update.the shop is saying i got either a bad injector or head gasket or maybe a fuel related sensor there saying that its not running on all cylinders then it will for a min after i hold it at 3000 rpms for a min.and what its doin is while your reving it its blowing like white smoke out pipe bad and its got a raw diesel smell to it.and it cuts out and misses badly then sometimes it will open up and run good but most of the time it wont.but there computer aint working they said it wuld be a couple of days till they got it working. i live in a hicktown by the way. so does anyone have any ideas all stock just strait exhaust. thanks in advance

Is there a Ford dealer near you? This sounds like a situation that'd be very difficult to diagnose over the computer.

the white smoke would be a head gasket most likely, but for some reason the EGR would have a role in that too. (sometimes that would dump coolant into the oil for some reason im not exactly sure why this design does that.) but a dead miss or a rough running condition would be caused by an injector or the injector wiring harness, maybe a burned wire.
