Ah, yeah VIN Number. You might need that heh.

1FTSW31P94EC45974

And thats pretty cool. Factory pass through wires, I thought they where kind of thick. Just wish they didnt end at such a hard place to get to inside the cab. But its still cool that ford did that.

Thanks alot.

Also, It may be a stupid question. But is there any difference in the quality of Internationals Reman Units compared to the original engine it had?

The reman units are generally rebuilt at a Caterpillar re manufacturing facility, and are of pretty good quality.

However, the only problem is International designed that engine to put out (if I recall rightly) 265HP. Ford winds it up to 325 and wonders why it fails.

Ever notice that nobody with an Econoline has a lot of blown up motors? That's cause they're rated at 265hp.

And unfortunately, I can't get ALL the repairing technician's comments, but from what it looks like, your truck tossed the EGR cooler and ran without coolant in it 'till it overheated and said G'bye!

PERFORMED DIAG STEPS 1 15 RETRIVED DTC AND HAD RAMDOM MISS FIR INSP AND FOUND NO COOLANT IN RADIATOR RAN OASIS FOUND STB PERFORMED EGR COOL ER DIAG ENG COOLER OUT REMOVED TURBO AND OIL AN FUEL FILTER HOUSING REMOVED REMOVED INTAKE AND REPLACED EGR COOLER AND REINSTALLED ALL PARTS REMOVED AND RETEST OK COLD PERFORMED ROAD TEST AT NORMAL OPERATING TEMP AND FOUND PRESURE TO BE
That's all I can get for you for his comments, parts wise it looks like it got a long block, EGR cooler, and oil, filter and coolant.

Ah, well much thanks for shedding some light on all that for me! It is good to know I have alot of fresh parts under the hood. Thats about the same thing I got on my OASIS printout. But I didnt get part numbers/ parts replacement listed or anything.

I never knew that about the HP either, interesting.

Thanks Hillbilly!
