My '06 lags. Got worse when I did the big intake and cac.

Even when it was stock it would have lag if you stuffed your foot to the floor off idle.

But it hooks up like !!!! if you roll into the throttle. Hang on !!!

I added fuel low down and that helped a ton but killed my around town milage.

So now I roll up the turbo while planting the left foot on the brake

6.0s are notrious for lag. The factory program keeps fueling low until certain paramaters are met, dont remember what they are. The trick is rolling into the throttle not mashing it. Custom tunes will help. BD makes a boost builder that is supposed to help alot, but i havent ran it yet.

Well, I guess I'll find out about the lag. I just sold the Dodge I bought last week for the 07 F350.

all diesels with a turbo have a lag, its just the time it takes to build the boost. There are ways to get rid of it, most cost lots of $$. a freer flowing exhaust will help, as will a better intake, a programmer will help but it will still be there. Just lessened some. An aftermarket turbo will help alot. Its easier to just ease into the throttle rather than slamming it. With some practice you will actually launch faster, and less tire/transmission wear.
