Question 6.0 turbo

I have the 03 Ford 6.0 and with only 38,000 miles on it. I am on my 3rd turbo. Anyone have a solution to this problem? Basically I believe the motor will last if I can overcome the problems!

I suggest overcoming the thought that somehow you are going to get a great resale value out of it by keeping the mileage low.
Drive that diesel, get it hot pulling a load, take it out EVERYDAY and run it.

What is going wrong with the turbos? Its is not normal for the turbos to "go out" some have VGT issues, and some have other issues...

What mods do you have? Gauges?

yes I must agree, drive it! 03 and only 38000? the vanes are rusting in the turbo! Stop by your favorite magazine store and pick up Diesel Power July issue. Good writeup on 6.0 engines.

there is a new drain tube update but i would look at a wire chafe issue or an exhaust leak at the rear of the engine at the cac tubes, possible vgt probs u need a boost test run and a air management test what codes are present?
