Hey does anybody have any good manuals for cleaning the turbo, I think mines getting sooted up.

How often?

yeah, I'm not trying to steal your thread, but any and all information on this subject could be helpful from a performance standpoint...

Anyone got anything?

The only 'Cleaning' youcan do on a VG Turbo on a Ford is the cleaning of the unison ring and vanes if they are sticking.

Take the turbo off, seperate the VGT part from the compressor part, and clean the parts.

Why do you think it needs cleanin?

Are there any gaskets that you need for the job? Can you simply dias-assemble and reassemble with the same gaskets?

Some dealers offer INDUCTION cleaning .


They also offer injection cleaning sercvice.
