Default Which Tuner

I'm looking at a '07 F-350 6.0L Powerstroke. This will be my first diesel truck and I am wanting a tuner for it but don't know which, Banks/Edge/Bully Dog??????? I would also like to upgrade the turbo, exhaust, injectors, intake..... Thanks.

I hear SCT is a good tuner for 6.0's

yep what he said, the only upgrade i would recommend is head studs, the problem is most people cant do this because it requires takin off the cab and that my friend aint a hole lotta fun. if you have a shop you can use that has a lift then it maynot be so bad.

sct is the best tuner you can get for a 6.0. like stkdram said head studs are a MUST.. if you plan on using the tuner to its full potential.. as for all the rest of the itmes on your wants list check out elitedieseleng.com they can get you hoooked up good luck

+1 for SCT they make some MAD power on the 6.0's..... i heard if you buy the head studs that Ford at one time was installing them under warranty......

I have the SCT on my 6.0 and love it. i recomend it if your considering. what are the head studs and what exactly do they do?

head studs replace the stock head bolts. they thread completely into the head bolt hole and are made of a much stronger alloy of metal than the stock head bolts. they don't stretch like stock head bolts do and allow for much better and even clamping force of the head to the block. therefore eliminating heads from lifting and head gasket failures due to bolts stretching and causing the head tq to not be up to spec.

alright, i get it. its basically just stronger than the factory bolts thus eliminating what you stated above.
