Why spend that. Get a BAFX OBBII adapter and download ForScan to your smartphone. The WiFI version of the adapter goes w/ iOs and the Bluetooth version is for Android.

Bismic is on point. The BAFX adapters are what I use. I buy them in batches and give them to my customers so they always have one in their trucks. It’s money well spent.

When they call me, I walk them through some diagnostics. Most of of the time with the info they can get for me using the BAFX and FORScan or OBD Fusion apps, I can walk them through patching their own truck up. Or I can have a really good idea of what parts to have waiting when they pull in my shop.

And still want start we checked everything ran test FICM injectors glow plugs etc. all good. Did test starting and everything is getting right numbers. But pcm mismatch keeps popping up.

It would be helpful to post the code numbers (for example is it an ICP voltage high code)?

Did you remove the Bully Dog programming or are you troubleshooting w/ it still loaded in the PCM?

You say “the numbers are all good”.

What are the numbers? All of them preferably.

That is why I asked for the code number. I guess it isn't important.

If you look back in the thread, there is a list of values requested. We would like to help you. But if you can not or will not provide information, then we are shooting in the dark.

All of the the stuff you posted really equates to two of the things asked for in the original list from the beginning of the thread.

Vin mismatch can be a lot of things. Could be a ghost in the machine, could be a code that popped up during programming, that was never cleared. Could be a true vin mismatch from using the bully dog to tune it.
