No start:(

Swapped in an 04 pcm. No start.
I do get a check gauges warning now and the little wrench light, but perhaps its just stored from the other truck?
Something i did notice, the last time i had the oil cooler out, i had been cranking it over before i took the cooler out. I noticed that the cooler was sitting in a TON of oil. The first time i pulled it, there was almost nothing in there. Is it possible the ipr is closed and not allowing the hpop to feed the oil rails? More and more im thinking ipr, however, when i swapped the pcm, the batteries werent fully charged. Ill leave it to charge overnight and try again tomorrow.

Hey guys sorry just joined still getting the hang of the forum stuff, if you don't mind me asking for help. I have a 1999 Ram2500 24v it has a fass 150 titanium in line pump, so I started it Tuesday after jumpin it cause she sat for a week getting a new pitman put in. Then cam out Wednesday and tried to start but only cranked till flat line (auto starts fault I hit the button went to shower came out and saw 0 on dash and the dreaded wedding) it's been -4 out all week. I put antigen and conditioner before the subzero temps. But now my pumps don't even kick on! Please HELP! I have work and surgery appointments coming up and am out of any ideas. Thanks ahead of time guy, proud to join the cummins brother hood!

Put in the new pcm. I was able to link my scanner up and pull codes. Im worried that the codes are just stored codes from the previous truck but they are as follows: P0155, P2285 and V0155.
Akaik the V0155 is a scanner error or something. Its the 2285 that is bugging me. That code seems to be more associated with the 03 motors and ends up being the icp sensor usually. The pcm is out of an 04 and my truck is an 05.

Ok, i just checked the ficm voltage again just to be certain and with the batteries charged up the key on voltage is 48.7 and it reads the same while cranking and gradually goes down as the battery drains. Im begining to think its a fuel issue now. Im not entirely sure what to look for tho. The fuel bowl fills up...other than that i have no way to check for pressure and im also wondering if maybe its got air in the lines since ive had the regulator off a few times. Went through the fuses again but they are all fine. Still waiting on my ipr so cant comment on that.

Just to finish this thread off i figured i should let you all know what happened.
It was the logic side of the FICM that went bad. I bought an ficm from a running 06, plugged it in and it fired up promptly.
I still have a no start issue when hot even after everything was replaced. Im leaning toward bad oil rail seals or intector seals for that problem. Other issue right now is weak batteries. Going to be replacing them with yellow tops shortly tho.
I purchased a Racor bypass filter, its huge...like tractor trailer sized, so thats been working good for me. I only need to replace headgaskets and stud the block to be totally bulletproofed but im going to wait a while before i do that. Ill probably replace the whole set of gaskets for the top end on my motor when the time comes. No point fooling around. Until then i plan on installing a tuner for better fuel mileage and just keep up regular mainenance.
