Just installed an egr delete kit on my pickup and now it will not build boost above 2000 RPM, turbo is dumping all the pressure out the valve anyone had this problem?

 

What valve are you noticing the boost dumping out of? The EGR valve??

 

the vgt valve i had to put the egr valve back in to get power back. now i only have power at 2600 rpm or higher slow taking off. everything is stock except exhaust is straight pipe. when i had the block off plate over the egr valve hole it was dumping everything but with the egr valve plugged back in and in the hole i have little power at low rpms

 

Any sort of tuner installed? Some 2004 trucks will require a file to run right.

 

I read this post and your comment made me curious I just did 8 injectors egr delete stc blue spring and banjo bolts now the truck misses/ shutters around the 1500 -2500 rpm range

 

Ok you need to check and make sure the little metal nipple on the intake manifold that has the hose running to your map sensor is clear if it has anything in it the truck won't build boost properly
