Hi guys, what is total cost to install arp head studs on my 2004 f350 + labor as a preventative maint? Please help

 

Not sure on just studs but cab will need pulled. I did studs and gaskets for a customer for 2200. Shop in town quoted him 5800 though

 

Cab does not need to be pulled if you are pulling heads at the same time. Which I would highly suggest pulling the, and sending them to a machine shop to be check for cracks and flatness. And install OEM gaskets. I just did ARPs in my drive with cab on so it is possible. Not that bad of a job either.

 

Many guys do it without pulling cab. Find someone you really trust if you aren't doing it yourself.

thats the problem!! Don't know who to trust? Maybe i should go to dealer? i live in reno,nv. know anybody?
