Ok I have a 04 powerstroke that died after it was up to operating temp

So the air test checked out after I got the truck together runs great still dies when it's hot I'm confused ... Some one suggested I change the ipc ... Can this make a differance ... Have a brand new ipr in as of yesterday if I had hair it would be pulled out
