Default Motor or Tranny vibrations

I have a 2007 F250 6.0L with 61,000 miles. Picked the truck up around three weeks ago from an older gentleman that owned it since new. It's had Mobil 1 Delvac 15W-40 ran through it all its life. About a week ago I changed the oil and put the same stuff in it with the Lucas additive for Powerstrokes. I also had to replace the oil filter cap because it broke while I was trying to put it back on. The truck also came with a Bully Dog Triple Dog Power Pup in the box and was only used on the lowest setting. I have messed around with it a little but ended up putting it back on stock setting.

Before the oil change I had a slight vibration I noticed in lower speeds. I could see my center console shaking and if I had a drink or something in the cup holder I could see or hear it moving. Once I got up in higher speeds and less RPM's it smoothed out.

After the oil change and messing around with the Bully Dog a little I noticed the vibration got a little worse. After cold starting the truck I would rev the motor while in park and I would get noticeable vibration. While driving I am getting vibration especially in a higher gear and low RPM's. If I would stomp on the pedal it would shake real bad until it down shifted and gained RPM's.

Threads I have read:

I will do the FICM test. My batteries are fine I believe. Fairly new Motorcraft batteries and I put the Lucas additive in it during the oil change so would I still need to put the rev-x additive in as well?

Thanks!

Possibly FICM? Maybe improper oil filter or filter cap? The filter was a FRAM and the oil filter cap after replacing it because it broke came from a local automotive store.

I would not use Lucas in a ford diesel. The injectors are oil fired and the tolerances are incredibly tight. Rev x seems to help a little but anything thick will probably cause stiction issues. I use 5-40 Rotella synthetic all year long and I don't need to plug in down to 2 deg. In winter. I have over212,000 miles and stock injectors. Your vibration may be misfiring injector. I would try fresh oil and rev x if you feel u need additive.

I changed out my oil filter and cap again to Motorcraft and I am still having the vibrations. So I have ruled out the FRAM filter and aftermarket filter cap.

So start fresh and change the oil out again and put Rev-x in it. My buddy changed his oil on his king ranch and used Lucas. He hasn't experienced any of the issues I'm having.

I am going to have a diagnostics check done on it. It's not throwing any DTC's.

I would definitely check for codes. If you can, get graphs of injectors firing. You should see consistent patterns on all 8 injectors. If pattern is erratic or some are consistent and one or more looks different you have an injector issue that will be magnified with thick additives like Lucas.

When I take it in for a diagnostics I will have them do check the injectors on a graph, volts for the FICM and a load test on the batteries. Anything else I'm missing?

I took it to have a diagnostics check and they said I have two injectors bad and my fuel pressure regulator is bad.

Do you think my oil change caused this?
