first of im on limited funds but started tearing into my 04 6.0 last night and found 2 bolts in the oil valley still dnt know what those were from but then i saw on the turbo 1 of the bolts was not a ford turbo bolt looked like something youd buy at a harware store so someones defintaly tore into it before the bolts under the dash were only hand tight thren on the bottom of the valve covers was like a thick kinds sludge oil almost like straight grease but got the heads off 2 hours ago and looks like they havent been machined no stamping on them but looks like all original injectors except 1 so prob gonna need new injectors so what injectors do you guys recomend or recomend rebuilding them and from where and what brand injectors

 

If you want stock, use ford reman injectors. Bigger nozzles or other mods usually best if done with factory reman injectors to start with.

 

Quite often on the 6.0L they can be thoroughly cleaned and be as good as new. Check in the FORD TRUCK ENTHUSIASTS forum for a thread titled "Injector stiction fix. Lots of labor but works great!!"
