i recently bought 04 f250 6.0 from used carlot.Looking under the hood i notice a edge programmer that has been wired in. this is my first 6.0 .how can i tell if the thing works or wats the purpose for it. there is no gauges on the inside.it runs fine good take off

 

what other mods do you have on the 6.0. i hope it has head studs.

 

i couldnt tell u if it does. only thing i have done to it is had muffler and cat off . replaced with straight pipe

 

look for a small switch, normally down by the fuse panel or even underneath it, it will have multiple positions to change the settings.
