Lots of LOVELY Codes that I need help on
2003 F250 XLT FX4. 166,000 miles. Batteries were replaced about 6 months ago, ICP sensor about 1 month ago, IPR Valve about 1 1/2 years ago, FICM about a year and a half ago.
Now I found 5 hidden codes for my truck and am a lost cause on these.
First of all, I oddly have to spray it with ether (very unfortunantly) to start it whether its HOT or COLD. Otherwise she won't start.
But the codes are
U036-Software Incompatible with FICM
P2617-Crankshaft Output Signal Open
P2291-Injector Control Pressure Low when Cranking
P2290-Injector Pressure to Low
P0603-Control Module Keep Alive Memory Malfunction
Wondering if anyone has had these problems. When it does run, I DO NOT have any power loss, it likes to stall out on me (has trouble holding idle), and again, I SADLY and UNFORTUNATELY have to spray it with ether to fire it up. Any help would BE GREAT.

Only thing Aftermarket on the truck is exhaust. 4" down, 5" straight and 6" tip

Do you have access to code reader or scanner? If those codes were hidden you may have memory codes from past problems. I would get current ficm volts, cranking and running, oil pressures and fuel pressure. Was replacement ficm flashed to match truck? I'm wondering if you have a harness issue or chafed wire on crank sensor. Do you have overdrive light flashing?
Kinda had the same problems started getting all sorts of codes And it turned out to be the FICM going bad. Low Voltage is a bad thing. So 1st make sure that your alternator is good when running 13.6 - 14 volts . Then check the FICM Again.
