Hey guys, yesterday i was driving my 2003 power-stroke 6.0 f-350 with straight pipe, egr delete sct tuned and all the other 6.0 problems fixed besides head studs. Then i floored my truck and it went to 32 psi and blew up and there's pieces of the turbo all over. I removed the turbo (I am an Aviation mechanic) and found sand that got past the air filter. Im guessing this destroyed the turbo... I want to put a bigger turbo on and want to hear some advise on whats good. I am looking for maximum power without sacrificing a lot of reliability. My friend has a 72 mm turbo and that's what i am leaning towards. Also i am wondering if pieces of the turbo went places they shouldn't have and what i need to clean up after this disaster. Im worried pieces went down the y pipe. I also had a smoke switch on the truck but i know its not from that.
