2004 Ford F250 XLT Crew Cab 4WD For Sale In Allendale MI - Holtzlander Auto Sales

They are willing to give me 5000 for my Jeep on a trade. I would pay cash the rest. What I am looking for is something I can use to haul my boat on weekends, and take the family camping with. It will also serve as my DD. My trip to work is 25 miles one way, so it will heat up enough. I dont want a money pit, just something that will last me for 3-4 years until I am ready to buy new, I just dont want a car payment yet, and jeep is way too small.

Here are pics of the Jeep for fun.

In the ad I did see that the high pressure oil pump has been replaced so that is good. I'm not sure if you know all the cons of the 6.0's but they are the EGR cooler, stock head bolts, and sometimes the injectors if the previous owner did not keep up on fuel filters. I'd ask if the motor has had head studs installed and would recommend that if you are going to tow, yes that and a possible EGR delete will run you about 5k but it is preventative maintainance and will ensure that truck is solid for a long time. My father had a 03 and the only thing that went wrong with that was his tranny at 170,xxx miles and a couple failed charge air cooler hoses blowing off. Just my 2 cents, hope it helps. I worked at Dynomite Diesel in Washington as a service writer for about aa year and those trucks were by far the most common there for repairs. But with the right upgrades they are absolute power houses and can be extremely reliable.
