Anyone ever run the Labonte Motorsports DIS-100 meth/water injection kit on their 6.0? I'm about to buy a kit for a really good price just needed some opinions on its performance.

Update. I bought it.

It comes with the Labonte VC-100 controller, 150psi pump, labonte solenoid with the dual nozzle kit. Came off of a 6.0. Still looking for opinions on Methanol kits and mixtures. A problem I think i'm going to run into is I live in Alaska and it gets to -60 easily and can maitain -40 for a good chunk of time. Mixtures? Additives? Put the tank inside the cab, heaters? I have no idea haha. If anyone has some insight or experience please share.

 

Starting install on Tuesday. Taking it 400 miles to Dyno it on Oct 12TH and will post REAL numbers(pictures) with the meth kit on and off. If I get a chance ill start installing some pieces tomorrow. I need two more 1/8" NPT holes in my sinister elbow for the twin 625ml nozzles and the boost line for the VC100 progressive controller.

Trying to pop the top on this rig haha.

Well I didn't get a chance to finish install in time for the dyno run due to weather in Alaska but the kit is now on. I have a bunch of pictures just don't know the easiest way to post them. Pump is mounted behind grille, tapped 2 more holes in my sinister diesel intake elbow one for boost for the controller and 2 for the 625 nozzles. Im running -40degree windshield washer fluid. Ran the MSDS on the companies fluid and it shows a 45-50% methanol content so its exactly what I wanted for performance. I do notice some power though in thew top end. I have it kick in at 15lbs of boost and 100% at 22lbs. Dyno results are coming right up .
