Default Smoke...?

Okay so I'm super new to owning a diesel so I know alot less about them then everyone else here. I have a 06 power stroke with the 6.0. I don't have straight pipes but I have two stacks. I've been trying to get her to smoke but it seems the only smoke that comes out is when I start her up and it's white. I might not be posting in the right spot but if someone can help me make her smoke, please, ill be one happy girl!

If its blowing white smoke then you may have blown your egr/heads/oil cooler. Also if you want it to black smoke light it on fire or put a bucket of hydraulic fluid in the bed and light that.

Having a truck that spews black smoke is not cool. Our community does not support making street trucks freight trains.

Now for the current white smoke you should start investigating the coolant side of the motor. Pull the EGR valve and see if the inside of the intake manifold is wet.

If you want a lot of smoke. Take a nice 5 inch flathead screwdriver and put er in the turbo. Smoke is bad for your truck. All it does is gum everything up.
