I have read all I can and need some help. Here is what's going on:
Did a EGR delete and new oil cooler put it back together started right up idled fine. But when driving it would cut out at 2000-25000 rpm. Sometimes it was excellerate when I went to shift gears. Checked codes got a P2284 code. Taking a second test drive it died while driving and will not restart. Dash mounted oil pressure gauge shows nothing while doing a long crank. Oil filter cavity will fill up rapidly when turning over with filter removed. Installed new IPR and still no start. The old IPR had a hole in the screen. Scan gauge shows when turning over:
FICM. 48.5
IPR 85
SYC. 1
ICP. 2

With ICP un plugged:
FICM. 48.5
IPR 85
SYC. 1
ICP. 1226

Is the HPOP the problem? I am tired a chasing things and need some help! The oil pressure gauge not moving makes me think the LPOP might be bad but the filter housing fills up so I don't know.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

 

sounds like its an oil pressure issue. on one side or the other. when you done the oil cooler, im guessing you used a new oil filter? it may not be the right one and not holding the oil drain closed in the filter housing.

 

I didn't change the filter yet was going to after test drive. So that shouldn't be the issue.
