2004 6.0 almost starts
Hi Guys, sorry it took so long to get back. was out of town for a while.
Took valve covers off to check dummy plugs and standpipes. They look almost new, so that's not it. On a more troubling note, found one of those pesky roller bearings in oil pan while draining oil. No 7 cylinder has lots of play in exhaust valve rocker, so Lifter is shot. Am hoping that we caught this early since I found only one bearing. Can you replace lifters without taking engine out? Can put ARP studs in it too then.
Thanks

Yeah, I know. You think I can get the heads off with the engine in the truck and replace the lifters? Or do I have to remove the engine to do that. I might as well replace all of the lifters while i am in there. I hope it did not do too much damage since I found only one of those pins.
