Default 2004 f250 6.0

I've got a rebuilt 6.0 with about 20k miles on it, arp headstuds, egr delete, cold air intake, 4" turbo back exhaust never had any problems with the motor until now. I had a stupid moment and raced my friend, beat him by a mile but when I let off the throttle it started chugging and had no power. I turned the truck off and found the boost tube was leaking slightly from when I took it off the day before so I fixed that and attempted to drive it home. It had no power and wanted to stall when I put it in drive. Rolled a ton black smoke but finally got it going, drove alright kinda missing and didn't wanna shift too well (4k on rebuilt tranny)I did an oil change and coolant flush today and new valve cover gaskets yesterday. Sounds like it's missing when idling and kinda low idle but still starts right up. Any suggestions what to check?

sounds like you have an injector sticking bud.do you have anyway to look at the truck and tell us the pids.

ipr duty cycle "cranking"

icp "cranking"

sync "when the ecm picks up signal from cam and crank and sends it to ecm then the ecm connects to ficm and tells injectors to fire"

ficm volts nothing less than 45 you also need to know thee logic side also and it needs to be 12 volts but high 11's are ok i've found.

but it sounds like you have an injector or two down from what your describing.

Thanks for your response but I'm not exactly sure what pids is? I went to start it this morning and it didn't really wanna run, unplugged icp and she runs fine. So icp sensor or could that still be multiple things?

the icp is bad and sending false readings to the ecm and most likely it thinks it's got more pressure than what it needs so it opens the ipr.but when you unplug the icp it sees a fixed value of 850 psi and allows the truck to start the pids are the values of the sensors.

So new icp and she should be good? Sorry for all the questions I've just already been down a similar road when I first rebuilt it and threw too much money on sensors.
