Excessive chuffing

Default Excessive chuffing

I recently had a fault for MAP Barro pressure correlation replaced MAP sensor
And everything seemed fine for about a week and now booing black smoke sometimes
White also have no power and truck sounds like an old steam locomotive have done
All the typical 6L fixes to it

I had the MAP Barro correlation code and symptoms similar to what you describe.

It ended up being a bad Glow Plug Controller.

I replaced a few glow plugs before realizing it wasn't the root cause.

So far have replaced MAP sensor and MAF and no change in issue

Glow plugs or similar with the white smoke?
