Default Good/Bad Turbo?

I found an 03 F250 that was blown today. The head gasket took a crap, filled the block with coolant and poof! Put some serious gouges in the sleeves. Its gonna need a whole new motor etc. He offered to trade the turbo that was on it for mine, but I am wondering if that could have damaged it at all. I finger spun it, it was smooth and tight. Too risky?? :dunno

To risky, if it filled the the oil pain, that thinned out oil was sent directly to the turbo. PASS
