Ive had the batts tested and they tested good my alternator is only bout 3wks old but i had it tested anyhow and it tested goid aswell im just getn really frustrated not bn able to drive my truck and idk what to do next, if u need anymore info to help me figure this out just let me know cuz i really need to get this takn care of fast.

The next time you start it put a volt meter on the terminal right on the alternator with pos lead and put ground lead to the engine to see what the voltage is, then put it on baterry terminals, if they are different/bat lower/ then you have a bd ground or the pos wire right off the alternator is bad. Don't be afraid to add another heavy wire from alt to pos battery,

sounds like a bad ground

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

check your terminals and clean them and make sure they are making good contact

also remember any battery testing below 9.6v is a dead battery. if your battery tests below either replace it or if you got the time and patience trickle charge it for minimum 2 days. i have revived batteries well below 9.6v after trickle charging them. good luck
