local hardware store in the paint section, like a home depot, lowes, etc.. 2 or 3 depending on how many coats you personally prefer.

Mdub if I could of kept them clean like that I would of left them chrome, but like I said the salt air out here eats them up fast. The chrome on them just looks cheap.

I used 4 cans but they are also 20s with a very deep lip. I also did quite a few coats to hide that chrome still have some touch up spots to hit. Probably shouldn't of done it on a cloudy day haha. I went to several home depots and lowes they were sold out except for 1 place that had 1 case left. They said it doesn't last long on their shelves and people buy cases of it at a time. I just did flat black seeing as thats all they had in stock but im pretty sure you can just use a gloss finish on it just makes it harder to peel off.

Sure it all depends what you put it through. Probably won't last long at all off roading. From what Ive seen it'll last months - year + depending on what it goes through. For the price you cant beat it.

Doubt it. If your going to do exhaust just pick up some high temp paint from an automotive store. I painted all the pipe you could see black. No problems so far.
