Default 4x4

ok guys my dads truck 4x4 wont work. I have read the sticky thead but even when he locks the hubs by hand still wont work. he did he said replaced the hubs with warn manual hubs the transmission seem to be in 4x4 but front end keeps popping and wont engage. And did the same thing with stock hubs. I believe that it went into eather 4x4 low or 4x4 high one time it was one or the other not both not sure how the system really works any input thanks.

the problem would then be in the transfer case and not the hubs, might just be a sticky solenoid. Also when trying to put into 4x4 high you should be moving before you turn the switch.

When my 4 wheel drive quit, it was a relay. I can't tell you which ones because I had the stealership fix it for me under warranty.
