So I went and bought my head gaskets from the local ford dealer and wanted to know if they are the good ones or not. i see the pictures online of the oem and they are blue. the ones i got are a victor reinz and they are black not blue just want to know if they are good ones or not.

 

 

The victor reinz are the same as the black onyx... junk, do not use them. Get the OEM Ford ones!

I got them from my local ford dealer and the parts guy said that these are the new gaskets that they are goin to be carrying. so if they are junk i will just order them some place online.

 

Did you ever get more info on this? I don't want to get them from a dealership and still get the wrong gaskets!

 

Order them from Tousley Ford, they are $137 a side and come with the new standpipe also, tell them you do not want the bolts that come with it and it really saves on shipping.
