I ordered a OEM 180 amp alternator from dc power about 6 weeks ago for $318. After a month of waiting I decided to give them a call to find out what was going on. They said they sent it out to get powder coated and it looked like sh!$ when it came back. The man apologized and said he was upgrading me from the OEM 180 to the new SPX-i series for no additional charge. Which from the looks of their site its not released for fords yet. Also received a $25 gas card from them. Kinda stumped I can't get in touch with them to see what the numbers are for this alternator. I must say from the looks of it, its a very good quality alternator. At idle cold volts went from 12 to 13.5+. Check them out if you are looking for a HO alternator.

 

Nice!!!!!!! looks awsome. Mighty cool of them to hook you up, alot of companies suck nowadays so it is always good to hear of one that goes over and above to satisfy.

For the price I got it for not going to lie I am pretty stoked about it. To add on to doing ball joints and new gear box this weekend. I can smell the progress
