Default SCT Livewire TS & Innovative Diesel

I Just got my SCT Livewire TS with my custom tunes from Innovative Diesel.

I ran the SCT for a few days with the canned tunes. The street tune was very nice. Pretty good sized boost from the stock tune. More power all the way around.

I put the custom tunes on today from Innovative Diesel. Took it out and warmed it up good, got everything to operative temp. Loaded the street tune and WOW! Lit the rear end up without problem, shocking really how easy it was. Transmission shifts the way its supposed to, nice and firm. The dashboard liar fuel mileage gauge at 60mph went from 16.3mpg with the stock tune to 18.8mpg on the same road, same speed. I don't expect it to be accurate but I do expect it to be the same amount of inaccuracy from one tune to the next.

So the way I figure it in about 20,000 miles the tuner will pay for itself AND give me the monitoring I need to keep this engine healthy, which is the real reason I went with this tuner. Seems to be an awesome product, hope it lasts as long as the truck (which for me means at least another 15 years).

The extra horsepower (fun) is just a nice byproduct

I love my Innovative tuning! I really like the looks of that new livewire too... if I didn't already have so many gauges in my cab I'd be getting one of them for sure.

That was the main motivation for that unit. I had nothing but the stock gauges and felt I needed some better monitoring. Was nice to know my FICM and oil cooler were healthy.

Yeah I still have to get my oil temp gauge and a larger pod to hold everything. The thought has crossed my mind to just sell off all of my stand alone gauges and go with something like that. Until the livewire TS came out that was just a pipe dream, but man that unit is NICE! You have any pics of yours mounted up?
