Default 6.0l powerstroke real solution kit

I am planning on ordering the solution kit from RIVER CITY DIESEL, does anyone have any tips to help me put this kit in?

If it comes with the black onyx gaskets i would ditch those and go with ford oem ones. The onyx gaskets arent thick enough and have led to failure. Also look into stc fitting, turbo lines upgrade, dummy plugs, maybe new glow plugs and harnesses depending on what they look like when you take them out.

I've heard Victor Reinz/Black Onyx has updated their gaskets, but I don't know when or if the switchover has even happened yet, still trying to find more info on that.

I agree though, in the meantime I'd stick with OEM headgaskets. If you call RCD and tell them that I'm pretty sure they'll put the OEM gaskets in the kit for you.

Jeff's right, if you're diving in you'll want to do all the upgrades now if they haven't been done.
