Hi All,I just bought a 04 F350 with a 6.0 a month ago. When I first got it it ran fine but I have watched the*mpg*go from 11 down to 9.1 and started feeling a slight miss. After the*truck*warms up first gear feels as if no power but once it kicks to 2nd powers picks up and turbo start spooling. No smoke out of the tail pipe and I checked FICM and its good at 48v. I have also changed the fuel filters and still no improvement. The only after market item on the truck is the air intake.Any Ideas?*Thanks

 

What fuel filters are you using?

You checked all 3 conditions for the FICM? It should also be tested cold as well (cold motor).

Have you had your batteries load tested? These trucks will run terribly with weak batteries.
