C1388B (X2) Connector: Injector Control, Cyl. 2,3,5,8 (Middle plug)
C1388A (X1) Connector: Injector Control, Cyl. 1,4,6,7 (end plug)
C1388C (X3) Connector: Power, Ground, Relay Control and Comm.
(X3 is a wider plug than the other two and is nearest the degas bottle)

Had a ford ser ice come oved and try and drop in a newficm... he. Wouldn't get the ficm and the tcm to comunicate.. could.t program the new ficm... , throwin;g money at it isnt helping .not sure were to look now now going to start checking the harness and cone tions any ideas Thanks
Yeah new FICM's have to be reprogrammed, as they are blank. I wouldn't waste my money on a new one. You've tested yours and the readings are good (though they can still be bad, it's not common). Check the plug to make sure there isn't any bent pins, and ensure it's clipped in all the way. You should then look over the harness with a fine tooth comb. I know it's frustrating, but at least you've got an area to start looking at, not just going in blind here.
You're absolutely right, throwing money at it never does fix it really, and if it does it's just dumb luck. I prefer to methodically figure out an issue. Diagnose, verify, repair.
