I have some error codes off my 2005 ford f 350 6.o stock app. p 1876 ,p1832,b1483, u1900 ,b 1360, b1318 ,b1352, truck is on charge, waiting for someone that can read code to give me a hand to get this big lug running Thanks the scan tool is an AE ford inhansed addition ,

P1876 Transfer case 2-wheel drive circuit fail
P1832 Transfer Case 4-Wheel Drive Solenoid Circuit Open or Short To Ground
B1483 Brake pedal input circuit failure
B1360 Ignition Switch circuit open
B1318 Battery voltage Low
B1352 Ignition "Key-In" Circuit Failure Code
U1900 CAN Communication Bus Fault


Charge your batteries up to full and try restarting. Are you able to start the truck and get it running right now? Anything done to this recently? Like the cab being pulled?

I bought the truck a few months ago , so I dont know the history , dealership was dodge , so thay didnt really know much bla ba bla , I can say it has made a great lawn ornament , other then that, I could nt give an accurate history on the truck, It is clean and stock , all of the parts I have replaced since it no start on me were in fair shape , IE oil was clean ,filters were fair , fuel and oil, egr valve was fair little carboun build up but no chunks, does run good when it ran. does nt seem to have been in a position were it would have been taken apart ,no damage to the frame or under carrage no new nuts or body panals or under carrage, looked for worn or loose wires succred all couplings that i could see , i have replaced the ficm and tested it several times , the only codes im ettin are the previosly the ones I posted other then that Im gona crawl into my thermals and start looking at the fuel and oil systems give you a chance to mull it over Thanks

Give me as much detail as you can as to how we got to this point. You bought the truck, it ran ok, and then one day started giving you problems? Was it a slow issue that came about gradually? What have you done for service on it? Did it start after service? Any other info? Stock all the way?

What oil and oil filter are you using?

How often are you using the truck? Is it sitting a lot? Anything you can tell us will help. I know there's a couple threads going on and it's getting hard remembering what happened when and where. Let's make this your official thread and keep all the info here. Start from the beginning, we can figure this out! :c:

b 1318,,, p0381,,,p0567,,,p0683,,,, u0155,,,, p1876,,,,,p1832 ,, b1483,,,,u 1900,,,,b1360,,,,b1318,,,,b1352,,, u 2013 ,,,u2023,,,,b 2658 ford f 350 2005 6.0 automatic 168ooo km changed the oil to synthtic 5/40 delvon ford supplied filters ,both fuel and oil replaced ficm ,had batteries load tested , came out this morning batteries dont seem to be holding a charge and truck will not crank truck cranked yesterday , ran diagnostics searching for codes last night unpluged ae left truck on charge ,, havent had it for long .two months and its beeen in the drive way for half that broke down , first repair ficm , truck ran one day ,started in morning broke down on the way home ,,,no power ,,,little peddle responce ,,, cranked untill i did last nights dianostics , gauges acted weired during diagnostics ,, flashing and flickering ,, thought it was the program testing each component in the cluster ,,, truck would not crank this morning batteries dont seem to be holding a charge cleaned egr valave changed out oil and fillters have it on charge , what can i say between the truck and my ol lady Im pretty well done need to get this crap delt with before my head splits open ,,been one of those days mm truck origanally acted up going up hill ,, flashed a wrench and went into limp mode did it awhile later giong up hill towing ,,the trucj had a fifth wheel reciever in the box so it would be safe to say its done its fair share of hauling .. probably snow bird style It was definitly set up as a highway hauler realy great looking truck:jump:verry claen and well maintained which would lead me to beleave the worst ,nobody puts this much maintanace into a truck and dumps it , if you ever punched out your truck you will no what i mean when i say it looks like the previos owner slamed the hood so hard he dented the front edge of the hood then walked around the truck punching it got to the tailgate and and punched it a few more times ,, then drove or towed it to dodge and bought a new truck ,, thats were i found it , bout all i can say , exept i need help trouble shooting these codes , I know what thay mean ,I just dont know what would cause so many to be set off at once thanks

Been haveing some problems keeping my truck on the road ,It is a ford f 350 6.0 diesel , auto.168K, first time it broke was on the way home from the dealership were I bought it used , was going up a 20 mile hill and wanted to see what It would do ,run great bout 3/4 then wrench came on and truck went into what I would discribe as limp mode,after tempetures were high but normal for a hill after i crested the top truck worked it self out?, tested the ficm It was going down to 26 28 ,so I replaced half board,truck ran fine ,better then fine for 10 k on my way back from work It started running really rough , no peddle responce ,no power , tested the ficm in key off 0, key on injector buzz 48 - 48.3, crank 47.8/9.stayed between high47 and low 48 s , I would say it is a no start deffinitly a no run,the truck will start but is verry quite barley running and then putters out,I have tried scaning with obd11 and hade no code, (have auto enginuity on the way, probably another week)Unpluged icp no differents,load tested batteries , good, changed oil and fuel fillters with ford products, new oil ford brand, some times i get smoke sometimes I dont ,,white maybe gray,,cleaned egr valve and also had the dealership service guy look it over before I reinstalled it, haveing saying that can a ficm test out in these conditions and still be bad ,, any Ideals or do I have to wait for my ae package to arrive Thanks Maverick 357 regina sask can.

out of all these codes the only one that would stop vehicle from running is b1318 low battery voltage . if voltage goes below 11 volts while starting the pcm will not let engine run.

Would any of the failer codes ,IE brake control moduale failure , be responsable for the bad batteries ,(dead ground ),,,had them load tested a few days ago and the shop said there both in good shape, have had them on charge for two days ,, 2 amp trickle charge,, and thay dont seem to get a full charge,its like there slowly charging and slowly draining with key on there about 11.7 truck is not cranking at all as of this morning .yesterday she cranked, but wouldnt start , thanks

Put a good charge to it ,, 13 v ,, truck started, ran realy rouch ,, funny thing is if i run the truck for codes with my ae and dont clear them the truck will crank n almost start If I clear them the truck wont crank at all , black smoke comes out the pipe when its almost running befor it dies , been wigling wires and cleaning plugs ,, ae has fired out a lot of codes 18 in total but the ones that have come up today have not chaned and been consistant P1397 veriable valve timing soliniod B circuit low input p 1633 keep alive volt. low P 0262cylinder 1 injector circuit high P0277 cylinder 6 injector circuit high P0280 cylinder 7 injector circuit high b 1483 break pedal circuit failer ,, p something brake cicuit short b1318 battery low ,, I have the truck on charge still waiting to giver another try when its charged up any feed back would be great,, the guys that have put there posts up have given me new ideals and have kept the ball rolling the truck is cranking and smokin , a few parts in the right place and Ill have this beat .Thanks

Just because the batteries themselves are good, doesn't mean that you're getting the right voltage to anything else. Could have bad grounds or corroded battery cables eating some voltage up. Double check your grounds, make sure they have good clean connections.

mdub707 thanks for the reply,,,truck is pretty clean, looked at body grounds ,battery grounds and every thing looks clean and secure If you or anybody can give me a some more locations were I shoud look for other grounds,,that would help my cross bad ground off my list,, while I was crawling around I noticed some oil leaking out of the seal between the under side (p) head and block ,, there isnt any air or oil being pushed while cranking but its still there and I thought I would mention it I have the error code conserning the brake pedel modual failure and the code,, brake pedal circuit short ,,, plan on changing it out but im wondering if a peddle modual could cause other damage to the electrical or have any other affect causing the no start, last but not least,1, 6, 7, injector circiut high, Ive seen some stuff on a low circuit but im not exactly what would cause a high circuit, Thanks

1, 6, and 7 are all on one FICM connector. You have a FICM or cable issue.
