Default coolant

just finished my egr delete and replaccing the injector got to finish a few other things on my list i was just curious if anyone had a technique for a coolant flush on these trucks

VC9 run it for a couple hours, drain, then keep filling it with distilled water, running it, draining it until it looks clear. Then fill with coolant of choice.

ok just fill it and drive it? i know ion my cummins i filled it with dish soap and drove it but it sint have the sensative oil cooler either. vc9 can i just get that at napa. also i was wonding is ther any way to do an oil flush?

There's also restore and restore + a lot of guys use instead of the VC9, I believe the VC9 everyone uses is right from Ford, but I'd imagine the auto places have their own variety. I've heard of the dish soap too, but I'd stick with what everyone uses. As for oil flush... why? Just change your oil on a regular basis, it's fine.

ok ill use the vc9 or whatnot as for oil flush i was just curious as far as doing the egr delet if anyone feell into the oil filter base while i was working on it i was trying to be as clean as possible doing everything but dont want to harm the 6.0l
