Default Windshield wiper problem

Ok its an '05 F250 4x4 crew cab, 6.0. Windshield wipers come on with no input. after some trouble shooting I have found that if I pull the brake pedal back they will shut off, but as soon as I step on the brakes they come on again. They will also come on if I hit minor bumps in the road. I have checked the wires around the brake pedal with negative results. If anyone knows where the two systems share power and could help I will be grateful. Oh and I also checked to make sure some joker hadn't hooked them up to the brake lights just in case.

Boom -

There is a reason its called a multi-####up switch. 13k359 is the basic part number for it. However...

SOME 2005 F-SUPER DUTY VEHICLES WITH A 6.0L DIESEL ENGINE MAY EXHIBIT ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING SYMPTOMS: SPEEDOMETER NEEDLE BOUNCE, CRUISECONTROL DROP OUT, DTC P0500, AND/OR UNCOMMANDED WIPER ACTIVATION. THESE CONDITIONS MAY OR MAY NOT BE TRIGGERED BY BRAKE APPLICATION. PRIOR TO FOLLOWING NORMAL DIAGNOSTICS FOR THE SYMPTOM(S) BEING EXHIBITED, INSPECT THE WIRING RUNNING TO THE WIPER MOTOR (RUNNING BEHIND THE COOLANT RESERVOIR) FROM THE MAIN 12A581 HARNESS FOR CHAFING AGAINST A BRAKE LINE CLIP. IF A CHAFE IS FOUND, REPAIR CHAFED CIRCUIT, ADD A PROTECTIVE SLEEVE/TAPE AND TIE STRAP THE WIRING AS NEEDED TO ELIMINATE CONTACT WITH THE BRAKE LINE CLIP. IF NO CHAFING IS FOUND, FOLLOW NORMAL DIAGNOSTICS IN THE WORKSHOP MANUAL FOR THE SYMPTOM BEING EXHIBITED.

Thanks that gives me a direction to go in.

UPDATE: Thanks for the info. Went out and looked under the hood right where it said and the bundle was laying on the brake line clip, or should I say over and around as it has cut into a few wires. Getting ready to repair the harness and then secure it well out of the way of that clip. What a pain in the ***, but I got several hidden issues found and fixed tracing this problem down like some other wiring under the dash chaffing and a cigaret lighter recepticle that was shorted out. Found that when my code reader wouldn't find the truck due to no power at the plug.

You home brew too? I just got into it last year, it's a lot of fun! I will definitely take you up on that offer!

Default 06 6.0 wipers

Wipers just died out of no where the switch was replaced about a year ago because I had no washer fluid pumping...it did not fix it. Now turn signals, high beams work but no wipers, should I just replace motor?

First, check to see if you are getting power to the motor when you turn on the switch.
