That's incorrect, not sure where you got that info from...
P0275 is cylinder 5 contribution balance/fault. Most likely injector number 5 needs replacing, but I'd run a contribution test on all injectors first.
How does the truck run now? How old are the batteries? Have they been load tested at all? I'd recommend that, and then test the FICM, you can find the test procedure at the top of the page. Both of those are easy and free to check, and it's smart to eliminate them as possibilities before replacing an injector.

when at wide open throttle it seems to almost have a miss and when I first start the truck in the morning it will puff alot of white smoke at a takeoff untill its been running for about a half hour or so. The smoke smells like raw diesel. Also my battery light will flicker on and off once and awile, i checked the batts with a meter and they read 13.7 volts. do you think any of these other problems could have something to do with this code?
