Default Rotella CJ-4

What do you guys think about Rotella CJ-4? I used it in my truck and it seemed like it stabilized my oil temperatures a bit. Driving in hills my temps would vary significantly. With the CJ-4 I never see more than a 5 degree change.

CJ-4 is the spec but what Rot oil are you using?? I have used T6 in the past with great results. Defiantly makes my list of oils to use in my 6.0L.

My bad, it is the T6. It had castrol in it when I bought the truck and the truck did not seem to like it as well as the T6.

T6 is really good oil, that's what I'm running now as well.

T6 is easily found and has a good reputation. One of the better oils for my truck during any conditions. I try to keep it simple with all the Gucci oils out there. Sure some may be better but how easy are they to find??

I had a heck of a time finding enough T6 to change into my truck. Most places only seemed to carry 2 or 3 gallon jugs on the shelf. It's a little harder since I refuse to step foot in a Wal-Mart as well. Ended up finally finding an Advanced Auto local to me that had enough in stock.

Tractor Supply Co was having a crazy sale on the stuff recently too, might be worth stopping in there if anyone is looking for some. Also heard great things about the T5 too.

I am very fortunate, my brother buys T6 in 35 or 55 gallon drums!
