Hope I'm not too late; have you done anything mechanical or replaced anything yet?!? The symptoms mentioned do sound like what the Hot Shot's Secret folks call "stiction", plus it's money-back guaranteed, so for ~50 bucks it's a no-brainer...

It all does the same stuff. None of which is a permanent fix though.
