Default Hmm Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?

Yesterday the truck was running perfect, today it still runs great (a little quieter than usual). However, when I start it, it doesn't have that nice strong initial fire, batteries are each sitting at 12.8V, very strong cranking but she just seems to roll off the starter and slowly bring the RPMs up as opposed to what I'm used to with it jumping and then coming down to idle. No hesitation or stuttering, not a rough start, nor does it need long/excessive cranking, just seems very weak. Any ideas?

12.8 when? What is it cranking? That might be a hair low....

I noticed mine has a completely different tone to it when I start it when it's really humid, it sort of seems to just stumble to life instead of a nice crisp fire. I only get that nice crisp fire when it's cooler out. When it's 80 and humid, I get that sluggish start so to speak. It still fires quick, just kind of stumbles up. Mine has always done this for as long as I've owned it.

That could be the case considering the screwy weather we've had, I'll keep you posted over the next couple days

Yeah always has that "weak" start to it when it's hot and muggy. Might just be what you're noticing.

That must have been it, yesterday was pretty warm and usually year round we have chilly mornings, today she fired right up the way she always does
