Default fire stone airbag kit. help

ok, my dad has a 2003 excursion v10 4x4. I bought him the air bag helper set about 2 months ago, went to install it this morning and I'm having issues. I set my 2006 f250 next to it and this is what I'm having issues with.

The frame and springs are much closer together then on my pickup, will this cause an issue?

Also, the brake lines are going to interfere with the lower mounting brakets, the lines run right beside the axle. On my truck they are routed away front the axle, so the brakets would fit. I could just replace these lines with the set on my truck.

Any input would be greatly appriciated. I'm I have to I'll start hacking and welding, but id rather not, Thats the reason I bought the kit, because I didn't feel like fabbing up a kit.

Thanks guys.

Did you buy an Excursion specific kit? There are different kits. The Excursions have different frames from the driver back.

Don`t know if this helps ya but heres some pics. It was pretty straight forward, I bent the brake lines a bit to get them out of the way but nothing major...
