see if you can get em down to around twenty. Blue book for excellent is 19k without the lift and everything http://www.kbb.com/KBB/UsedCars/Pric...c226892%7ctrue so...with the lift...twenty to twenty two should be alright.

I just pulled it up on KBB.com and it says the price to expect to pay at a dealer would be $18,715. Ouch.

compare it to what the other EX's are going for. up here a F250 crew cab with 120K or better is still going for $18k. that's what the market is on them. KBB is a great tool but it's not always up to speed on the market IMO.

I think they're about 3-4K high on the price but if all you can find are EX's with 100K miles or more than you might want to consider paying a little premium for this.

I was willing to pay a little more than it was worth but not 6-7k. I called them and they asked if i have a trade. I told them yeah an 04 FULLY LOADED expedition, it is a space ship it has air conditioned seats and they said they cant budge on their price if I trade. I would think about it but they will probly try to lowball me on the trade so I dont think that is the one. SO after being pissed they were like that I found another one that the wife likes. His price is a bit more close to where it should be it has brand new MT wheels and 36" iroks and looks pretty nice. Plus he is willing to work the price a little. Here is the link

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...ax_price=30000

So what do you guys think. I have to do this right b/c she will be pissed if sh doesnt get something she likes and she gives up her car. So to my last question, I'm not floating in money not even close but I could pay for it with savings and put it back when I sell the wifes car or get a loan and pay it off when I sell it what do you guys think?
Sorry for all the questions but thank you so much for the help

Pete

I like that last one pete... And as everyone else said stay with the 7.3... Not as fast as the 6.0 but at least it will finish the race!

i like the looks of that last one the best. it has twice the mileage that the 2nd one has but i don't think that one is worth 8K more either.

i'd ask how long that lift has been on there. ford's have the same hub problems we do and those tires ain't light.

i'm going to move this thread to the official excursion section of the forum.
