The wife has one. Its awesome. Its an 02 with the only good ford diesel. The 7.3L. On the highway it gets about 22 MPG. She had a minivan and I told her it needed a diesel. She said if i wanted her to drive a diesel, i should get her an excursion. So we found one and that was that.

05 was the last year of production for the excursion. It sucks, but with the engine dilemma ford has it was probably for the better.

My brothers got one with a 6 inch lift and 37's sweet ride but it has like a 41 gallon fuel tank!!!!

Its 44 and its an arm and a leg to fill it. When we are on the highway we can go about 900 miles. Thats pretty nice.

Mom does like here big fuel tank. She didnt to much like the idea of a lift and tires.
