Speedometer drive gear

Anyone ever replace their speedometer drive gear. I believe it is eating up my driven gears on the end of the speedo cable. How do I get to it?

have to pull the tail off your tcase. istn to bad to do.

Do I just have to pull the rear yoke off or the whole housing on the back end?

pull the yolk off the back of the tcase, then the 6 bolts around the housing and the cover comes off.
