How many of you good ol boys are for lower diesel prices? $4.18 a Gal and it ain't gettin no better, I figured I'd try on here to see how many people agree with me? I love diesels and dont want our farmers and workers to suffer cause of oil companies If you all are for what im doing just post back and we'll send a message to washinton to pressure the oil companies, for $1.50 a GAL. How's that sound? I have a 7.3 IDI and dont wanna see the diesel dream die

 

The oil companies are always trying to feed us the line about supply and demand, how 'bout y'all park your diesel pickups for a while, leave the supply to the farmers and the truckers. The oil companies charge what the market will support, and as long as people keep buying,they'll keep inching up the price. Once in a while they go too far, there's a backlash, and they drop the price for a bit, but pretty soon they're back at it, cranking up the price. The only way to reach them is to boycott or drastically reduce your fuel usage, and a large number of people need to join in. I'm minimizing my trips and driving my ecobox, so now its up to the rest of you. If you want to see a difference. Sorry about being so long winded, got on a rant.

 

Very true Eddie, I drive my little gangsta car. The only time I drive my pickup is when I need to haul something. I give the oil companies the TRUCKERS SALUTE ....greedy bastards!
